We are no strangers to a good beer conversation, but what happens when you’re just at home ion your own with no one to talk to? We admit you can talk to yourself and probably do from time to time but wouldn’t it be better to have a (kind of) conversation with other people, beer enthusiasts none the less.
Podcasts have been around for what seems like decades but we haven’t all quite grasped the concept of hearing someone talk about ‘News’ or ‘Achieving Your Goals with Meditation’ for an everyday listening. If you have a train, bus or car commute and get a little sick of the radio then we have another alternative that you might be interested in.
“The Beer Podcast”
This one basically does what it says on the tin, and really is something to be devoured. With episodes on specific breweries, then others on festivals and projects, we particularly like this one meeting with Greg Wells, Co-Founder of the London Beer Festival.
“Good Beer Hunting”
Interested in having your own brewery? Brewing your own beer and want to get it out there? #BEAVEREX18 — Go Your Own Way — The Value of Independence vs Investment id our next recommendation, a little more business minded but if you’re really into the industry and want to know what it takes to open a brewery or sell your beer then give it a listen. They also have hundreds of other episodes with interviews with brewers from all around the world.
“Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine Podcast”
If you are a die hard Spotify user like me, you’ll probably not turn anywhere else for your listening habits, and same with Apple music users I imagine. Spotify have a few different Beer podcasts, but we like the Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine show, with episodes dedicated to interviewing owners and directors of breweries and chain restaurants to give you the most recent low-downs.
So which one will you give a try?
Let us know which is your favourite and we will give the episodes a good ol’ listen!
We brew the kind of craft beer we love because we know you’ll love it too.
To brew we only ever use the finest malt, hops and yeast to ensure our beers give you the highest standards of quality, freshness, consistency and drinkability.
Ultimately, it’s all about the flavour and the aroma – the proof is in the taste.
At our microbrewery in Southampton, we brew with attitude and from the heart. All you need is your senses, some curiosity and be ready to have your taste buds turned on.
